Hares Leap farm shop and country delicatessen
Opening February 2009
Jon Smith, proprietor of Pepper's Restaurant, writes:
"Kath and I live at Flatts Farm in Burniston, on the coastal road, and building work has started on our new venture, Hares Leap farm shop and country delicatessen. We will be opening in February and will be selling our unique range of pates and terrines, charcuterie, chutneys, pies, fresh daily baked bread, ready meals and a whole host of other gourmet delights all made on the premises. (It will be quite different to any farm shop you have ever seen!)
"As well as having a full working butchery and purpose-built smokehouse, we will be specialising in game and selling our own farm-produced free-range poultry (geese/turkeys) rare-breed pork and duck and hen eggs."
